The song I composed out of FL Studio 12 is a remix of an underground track by the producer under the moniker Breach, called ‘Jack’. It features a sample which was uncredited that just repeats the phrases, “J-Jack, Jack’, “I want your everybody wants your body”, “lets jack”. The original song was a catchy tune and it became an earworm, that was why I decided to put my spin on this track. Also, the original track was simple, which left me a lot of space to work on. The original song was just comprised with a square sub bass as the driving force of the track, a lead that was used only on the intro, a simple four on the floor kick pattern plus a house-y, hi-hat. I extracted the acapella from a website I found from the internet, and looked for the keys and found it out to be in D♭ min, but my composition is on the G min. I figured that it should be fine because they exist on opposite sides of the Camelot wheel. I had a beat made far beforehand, and thought it would fit this type of genre, so first I laid out my vocal on the playlist, but then I felt it sounded to bland, so I decided to chop it out and give variations to the vocals, making the sound more dirty. I worked almost twelve hours on the song and it came out better than expected, it became my new earworm of my own creation.
