Lying in bed, met the new day with a yawn
Checked my phone, got a message, school’s not on!
Woke up to good smells, Mama’s cooking up some food
Watched Netflix, chilling put me in a good mood
It’s the simple things you know that are good for me
Greeting the day with a cup of nice hot tea

You know I love the band Queen - they make me feel connected
On this magical day, Freddie was resurrected!
Took a plane, far away anywhere it’s up to me

Hung out with my friends and shot the breeze
